Roles and Responsibilities

Controller of Examionation
  • He/she shall be responsible for the conduct of all examinations as per the prepared schedule.
  • To maintain safe custody of question papers connected with the conduct of all examinations along with additional CoE.
  • Identify the adequacy of space allotted for the conduct of examination. Further he/she shall ensure that the rooms, building, laboratories, stores etc. are well organized/ prepared to conduct the examinations.
  • Inviting question papers from the respective faculty/department on finalization of datesheet for examination.
Additional Controller of Examination:
  • Printing of answer booklets for various examinations with improvements, if any.
  • Helping CoE in all his/her activities related to the conduct of examination.
  • He/she shall ensure that the activities related to examinations are ready in time (Seating Plan, hall ticket {with latest digital photograph of candidate}, filling up of examination form by students, etc.)
  • Seeking result from departments within stipulated period after the conduct of examination.
  • Supervise the progress of duties assigned to Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar.
Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar
  • He/she shall liaison between Academic Cell and CSE department for the publication of result on portal once the result is received in the Academic Cell.
  • Preparation of examination schedule (date sheet), in consultation with Dean (Academics & Students) under intimation to Controller of Examination.
  • Assigning of invigilation duty from the faculty (Class A posts) on rotational basis.
  • Liaising between the departments and academic cell ensuring receipt of attendance so that the Hall Ticket can be generated well in time before the conduct of examination.
  • Shall work under the supervision of Additional Controller of Examination and also report the progress made in the assigned responsibilities.
  • Any other duty as assigned by Additional CoE & CoE
