Announcement of Outstanding Institution Awards (for both Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges)
for the Year 2026

NITTTR, Chandigarh intends to confer "Outstanding Institution Awards" at National level for both Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges for the year 2026. Interested Institutions (both Government and Private) are requested to download the proforma and send the duly filled and signed application forwarded by the Director or concerned official of Directorate of Technical Education with his/her stamp/seal for respective State (in the case of Polytechnics) and by the Board of Governors (Chairperson or Member) / Affiliating University (Vice Chancellor or Registrar) with his/her stamp/seal (in the case of Engineering Colleges).

All those institutions which have not received this award during the last two years are eligible to apply.

The last date for receipt of applications is 3^rd July, 2026.

The duly filled proforma may be sent by registered/speed post or submitted in person to Chairman, Awards Committee, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Sector 26, Chandigarh-160019

The institution applying for the award must ensure that correct information is given in the application form. If any information in the application is found incorrect, the application will be out rightly rejected. In addition, the institution will be debarred from applying for the award for the next five years.
