About Us

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has progressed steadily to its present stature, earning a respectable position among its stakeholders and the academic community. The department actively offers:

• An Undergraduate Programme (B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering), specially designed for working professionals who wish to enhance their technical foundation and academic qualifications while continuing their employment.
• A Postgraduate Programme (M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering) that is industry-oriented and practice-based, offered in Regular (Evening) and Modular modes for sponsored teachers of Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges, officials from Directorates of Technical Education, and industry professionals across the country.
• A Ph.D. Programme in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The department also conducts need-based short-term courses in emerging areas such as Embedded and Digital System Design, VLSI Design, 5G Communication and its Use Cases, Antenna Design Techniques and Tools, Next Generation Wireless Networks, ECE Lab Practice using Open Source Tools to upgrade the knowledge and skills of faculty and technical staff from Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges.
