The department offers industry-oriented and practice-based Master's Degree Programme in Computer Science and Engineering duly approved by AICTE.
Master of Engineering Programme in CSE
Towards facilitating quality and qualification enhancement of faculty in technical institutes who hold a Bachelor's degree in their respective disciplines and aspire to enhance their qualifications, the institute designed and developed a new path breaking system and approached AICTE for approval of Master of Engineering Modular Programmes. With approvals secured, the department also started offering the modular programme in M.E. Computer Science & Engineering since 2005.
PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
PEO1
To develop technical knowledge and skills in the area of Computer Science and Engineering at post-graduate level
PEO2
To develop the ability to undertake R&D in the field of Computer Science and Engineering
PEO3
To develop the generic skills such as life-long learning, creativity, problem solving, team work, lifelong learning and leadership, professional ethics and values.
Programme Outcomes (POs) for ME CSE Program are:
- PO1: An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
- PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
- PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

The department conducts national and international seminar/conferences regularly in the upcoming technologies.
