- During the year 2020-21 (till 06 November 2020), the department conducted 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-weeks courses (36 Nos., equivalent to 52 one-week STCs), and trained faculty members (3124 Nos., equivalence on one-week courses scale as 4306). In 2019-20 and 2018-19, department conducted 22 and 18 STCs, and trained 380 and 225, faculty members, respectively.
- Conducted an AICTE (ATAL) sponsored FDP on 'Sensors Technology' during Sep. 21-25, 2020.
- Celebrated National Technology Day 2020, jointly with CSIR-AMPRI Bhopal on May 11, 2020.
